There is a time of year when creativity changes its skin, yarns become lighter, colors grow brighter, ideas begin to multiply, and the desire to create something new becomes almost impossible to resist. For me, that time has a very specific name: spring.

I imagine Spring 2026 like this: soft, playful, delicate yet full of personality. A season where crochet meets fashion, accessories take center stage, and even the smallest details can transform a simple project into something special. Not just garments and bags, but also little creative touches to wear, hang, personalize, and reinvent.

So here are all the ideas to make over the next few months: a handmade wishlist scented with bright days, sorbet shades, and inspirations to wear... signed Tessiland.

Among the first projects to make for Spring 2026, there is definitely a solid-color vest. Imagine it clean, linear, easy to style, and able to look good with everything: a white shirt, a basic T-shirt, a light dress, even soft denim.

Maybe because it holds everything we love about handmade: color, modularity, rhythm, personality. It is nostalgic, yet it can be super contemporary, romantic, graphic, boho, or pop, depending on how you interpret it.

For Spring 2026, it could be worked in a fresher way, with palettes that are less autumnal and more luminous, perhaps playing with delicate pairings, contrasting touches, or unexpected combinations. Granny is one of those projects that truly lets you have fun, square after square, already imagining the final result. When I think of the warm season, I immediately think of accessories too, and among the ones I would love to make there is undoubtedly a clutch in sorbet shades. Even the name alone puts me in a good mood. I imagine it in delicious and light nuances: peach, lemon, strawberry, mint, lilac, cream, very pale raspberry. Soft yet cheerful tones, perfect for giving a look a polished but fresh feel. A clutch like this has everything it needs to become the accessory of the season: it is feminine, versatile, original, and works beautifully with both a casual outfit and a more refined one.

What’s more, it is one of those projects that can become truly special thanks to the details: a jewel clasp, an interesting texture, a clean shape, a well-studied play of colors. This is one of those ideas I find poetically spring-like: a handbag created by sewing crochet roses together. Not just a simple bag, but almost a little bouquet to carry with you.

It is the kind of project that combines romance, craftsmanship, and strong visual impact. The roses can become the structure, decoration, and identity of the piece itself. The final result could be delicate, striking, feminine, even couture if carefully designed.

Spring 2026, at least in my head, will also be the season of details that make you smile. That is why I would love to create a series of keychains and charms to hang on bags, small but full of character.

The ideas I like most?

Daisies, cherries, dachshunds, crustaceans.

Yes, because accessories do not have to be serious to be beautiful. In fact, it is often the most ironic, colorful, or sweet details that make a bag more personal and memorable. A daisy instantly gives a fresh, romantic feel. Cherries have a playful retro vibe. The dachshund is irresistible, perfect for anyone who loves accessories with personality. And crustaceans? Unexpected, fun, super summery, almost like a mini vacation capsule.

These charms can also be the ideal project for using up small leftover bits of yarn and transforming them into something creative, sellable, giftable, or simply adorable.

Long live buttons: the creative trend not to underestimate

And then there they are, the quiet protagonists that are coming back into the spotlight in a surprising way: buttons.

For years, we have considered them almost purely functional. Useful, of course, necessary sometimes, but today buttons are changing roles. They are becoming true creative accessories, decorative details capable of personalizing objects, garments, and even the tiniest everyday elements.

And this is where the trend gets really interesting.

If I had to sum up my creative spring in a few images, I would see:

• Because spring, after all, is exactly this: the moment when creativity also becomes lighter, has fun, experiments, and allows itself to play more.

The truth is that I do not see Spring 2026 only as a season to wait for, but as a season to build. Stitch after stitch, accessory after accessory, detail after detail. Some projects will be more demanding, others quicker. Some will come from a real need, others simply from a creative love at first sight. But all of them will have the same mission: to bring lightness, color, and personality.

And maybe that is exactly what I am looking for in the coming months: not just to make something beautiful, but to create pieces that tell a freer, softer, more personal way of living the season.
