Paros the trivet fish a seaside-style decoration for your beach house and beyond
Have you already read our article: Summer Crochet – 3 crochet projects for your beach house (and beyond)? If so, today we’re diving deeper into the second of the three suggestions: a useful, fun, and super summery decoration perfect for bringing a coastal touch to your kitchen... even if you don’t live by the sea!

This project captures all the freshness of summer and is perfect for those who love to decorate their table with creativity.

Final detail: the eye
To complete the fish, make a small circle using yellow yarn to simulate the eye. You can make it with a few single crochets around a magic ring, or with a small embroidered stitch.
Paros: the Greek island that inspired this project
Paros is one of the Cycladic Islands that inspired us on this summer journey of crochet and relaxation. Its bright whites, blue doors, and golden sunshine guided us in choosing the yarns and setting the mood for this simple yet striking decoration.
Save the project, share it, and... keep the journey going!
Paros is the second project of the “Summer Crochet” series – if you missed the first one, go read the full article here, and don’t miss the next one!
A fish that smells like summer, relaxation, and creativity
The Paros project is not just a trivet, but a little handmade journey through color, Mediterranean inspiration, and a longing for lightness. Ideal for adding a seaside vibe to your kitchen or as a unique handmade gift idea, this crochet fish carries with it the scent of the sea and the calm of a summer afternoon.
Whether you're by the sea, in the city, or in the mountains, the magic of crochet is just this: you can always feel on holiday with a hook in hand.
Stay tuned for the third project in our summer series and... happy crocheting!
