How to choose the right button
Three things to consider before buying:
Attachment — shank buttons sit slightly raised, so the buttonhole slides easily on thick, knitted fabrics. Holed buttons lie flat: ideal for shirts, dresses and lightweight fabrics.
Visual effect — want the button to stand out? Go for jewel, special or decorative. Want it to blend in quietly? Classic or natural (wood, mother-of-pearl, coconut).
Size — check the diameter in mm against your buttonhole. If in doubt, get in touch with us.
