Amigurumi stuffing: soft, safe and lump-free
Tessiland amigurumi stuffing is 100% siliconized polyester microfibre, made in Italy and sold in packs of approx. 150 grams. The silicone finish makes the fibres light and slippery: the filling spreads evenly inside your creation, without the lumps and bumps typical of ordinary wadding.
It is a hypoallergenic and antibacterial product, designed for what amigurumi really become: plushies to hug, toys for children, decorations that stay in the house for years. And when they need freshening up, the stuffed creation is washable: the siliconized fibres regain their volume without clumping.

Why choose siliconized stuffing
All the benefits of a fibre designed for amigurumi, not adapted from other uses.
1. Siliconized: no lumps, perfect shapes
The siliconized fibres open up with your fingers and glide over each other: they fill bodies, legs and corners evenly, without clumping. Your amigurumi stays soft, round and in shape over time.
2. Hypoallergenic and antibacterial: safe for little ones too
This is the feature that matters when the amigurumi is meant for a child: hypoallergenic, antibacterial material, and the stuffed creation washes at low temperature on a delicate cycle.
3. 150 grams that last
Siliconized fiberfill goes a long way: a small amigurumi uses just a few grams. One 150 g pack covers many projects, from keyrings to medium plushies.

✨ TESSILAND STUDIOHow to use it
Pull off small amounts of fibre and open them with your fingers before inserting: they will go further and spread better. Stuff a little at a time as you close your work, pushing the fibre into corners with the back tip of your crochet hook. Use small tufts for legs and fine details; for the body, add fibre until the amigurumi springs back into shape when pressed lightly.
Frequently asked questions
How is it different from ordinary wadding?
Generic cushion wadding tends to clump and form lumps inside the small shapes of amigurumi. Siliconized microfibre stays soft and spreads evenly instead: the plushie keeps its shape even after hugs and washes.
How much stuffing does an amigurumi need?
It depends on the size: a keyring or small amigurumi uses just a few grams, a medium creation a few dozen. The approx. 150 g pack covers many projects.
Can the stuffed amigurumi be washed?
Yes: wash at low temperature on a delicate cycle. The siliconized fibres regain their volume without clumping, and the amigurumi comes back soft as new.
Is it suitable for children's toys?
Yes: it is hypoallergenic and antibacterial, the right choice for plushies meant for little ones. As with any creation, sew small parts carefully and close the seams well.
Can I use it for plushies and small cushions too?
Yes: it works very well as stuffing for fabric plushies, decorative mini cushions, pincushions and stuffed decorations. You can find everything you need for amigurumi in the amigurumi category.
