Metal Knot Covers for Bags
Quick overview: Metal knot covers to hide visible cord knots on bags, backpacks and handmade accessories. Thread onto the knot and squeeze with pliers — the knot vanishes, the finish is clean and professional. Models: classic bell, tapered cone and ribbed. Finishes: silver, gold, gunmetal. Sold singly or in pairs. For buckles and cord stoppers see the dedicated categories.
A knot cover is a metal cap that hides a cord knot, turning a rough detail into a professional finish. Used wherever a crochet bag has a visible knot: at the end of a drawstring, at the join of two cords, where a tassel attaches. In a second the knot becomes invisible.

How to Use a Knot Cover
1. Tie the knot on the cord where you want to secure it.
2. Thread the cord through the open base of the knot cover and slide the knot into the cavity.
3. Squeeze the open rim of the knot cover with flat-nose pliers — the metal closes around the cord and the knot stays hidden inside.
The knot cover is permanent: once squeezed it won't reopen. To remove it you need to cut the cord. For knots that need to be removable, use a sliding cord stopper instead.

Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between a knot cover and a cord stopper?
A knot cover hides the knot — it squeezes shut permanently and the knot becomes invisible. A cord stopper locks the cord in position — it slides to tighten or loosen but doesn't hide the knot. Knot cover = aesthetics; cord stopper = function.
What pliers do I need?
Flat-nose pliers (flat jaw or parallel jaw) — the same used for jewellery making. Don't use toothed pliers: they scratch the metal. A firm squeeze is enough to close the rim of the knot cover around the cord.
