Frequently asked questions
Chain by the metre or 5 m roll — which is better?
The 5 m roll is better value if you make bags in batches or want to stock up: up to 40% less per metre. The metre chain is ideal for a single project where you only need one strap. Either way, cut to length with pliers and attach the carabiners.
Which link style should I choose?
Classic (25×15, 27×20 mm): elegant and versatile, the all-rounder. Hammered: artisan texture. Diamond-cut: faceted, catches the light — great for evening bags. Flat rhombus: light and contemporary. Double/Tandem: sturdier, luxury feel. For a full guide, see the bag chains page.
