Resin Chain Straps for Crochet Bags
Quick overview: Resin chain straps for crochet bags and clutches: colourful acrylic resin shoulder straps with snap hooks, lightweight and strong. Round, square and pentagon links. For all straps see the parent category.
Resin chain straps for bags are the colourful, lightweight alternative to metal straps. Acrylic resin weighs a fraction of metal yet keeps a structured, on-trend look — perfect for summer bags, evening clutches and creations where the strap colour needs to match the cord.
Three models with different links: Classic round, Square and Glasgow tight mesh. All with snap hooks included for a quick clip-on.

Why Choose a Resin Chain Strap for Your Bag
The main advantage of acrylic resin is weight: a resin chain weighs a third of a metal one with the same visual volume. For summer bags and evening clutches, where lightness is key, resin is the right pick. The second advantage is colour: unlike metal (limited to gold/silver/bronze), resin comes in pastels, blush pink, glossy black and shades that match your cords directly.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are resin chain straps strong?
Yes, acrylic resin is a sturdy material that won't deform with daily use. It isn't meant for very heavy loads (metal is better for those), but for normal-weight bags and clutches it holds up perfectly.
How do you clean a resin chain strap?
With a soft cloth and warm water. Avoid solvents and alcohol as they could dull the surface. Resin doesn't tarnish like metal, so it keeps its original colour without any special treatment.
Which model to choose — Classic, Square or Glasgow?
Classic (round link) is the most versatile and suits any bag. Square (square link) is for a bold geometric look. Glasgow (tight mesh) is the most elegant, ideal for clutches and evening bags.
